Update on Teddy, I've just received the following from one of my contacts:

This little cat is now safe at billys thanks to you for circulating it!

Hi Josie,

Thanks ever so much for your email and sorry it has taken me a while to reply.  I tried your suggestion, the Retreat, and they were fantastic.  I dropped Teddy off at theirs this Friday & am so relieved he has a new home!

Thanks ever so much again for your help

I've just received this through as well   :)  I'm sooooo pleased we're not too late  :Luv:

Hi Dawn

Thanks so much for your help!  I am so amazed by the response on the catchat forum, its been an absolute god send!  My home no is:  xxxxxxxxx.  If Fiona would be able to help, that would be fantastic.  I shall also send her an email and try & contact the Celia Hammond trust which seems to be the place a lot of people are recommending. Teddy will be in a cattery from tomorrow so hopefully, fingers crossed, I will be able to find him a new home by the end of the week.

Thanks ever so much again
Kathleen xx

Just seen this post on CC

Hi everyone!

Thank you all so very much for your help and contacts, I am so pleased that there may be hope for him afterall, i was getting quite desperate. He is indeed a healthy boy and has never had any health issues at all so it would be too awful for words to have to resort to the vets. I am making several phonecalls first thing tomorrow morning to try & see if Teddy can be sorted out! He is in a cattery from tomorrow but hopefully, fingers crossed, I can sort him out (or at least know whats happening with him) by the end of the week. I shall keep you all posted.

Thanks ever so much again
Katie

Hope it can be seen in green print!

Has anyone heard anything back from Kathleen?

For my part, no  :scared:

Let us hope she sorted the matter out privately and forgot to update us on Cat Chat.  :(

Has anyone heard anything back from Kathleen?  I've had another email asking her to contact Naomi at the Celia Hammond Trust so I'll send her the number.  Fingers crossed it's not too late as there are a couple of offers of help for this little one.

Just had this email, I'm not sure if anyone can contact the poster:

Hi Dawn,

I realise it is not your cat but I have just seen this on an email and I am having problems with my computer logging into Catchat to leave a message and saw that you initially posted it to *****.  Do you have contact with the lady apart from Catchat?  Basically, I don't know whether it is too late but I would take the cat in at my Sanctuary.  I am in Essex www.towerhillstables.com

Best wishes.

There is absolutely no need for him to be PTS I have posted on CC and if I get the answer to my question I want and If transport can be arranged then we would take it.

I think, from the original post, that he is otherwise healthy but, on CatChat, I have asked the poster to respond to us.  I hope she will do so  :scared:

Last night someone from down south asked for 2 FIV cats and I put them onto the Bredhurst Shelter. Lets hope they have some spaces.

Although it does mean another rescue will have to wait a bit longer, however, we always take cats in on need not how long they have been on our list.

I've sent a plea out for this little lad, I really hope a home is sorted out for him rather than be pts  :'(

An FIV+ cat urgently needs a rescue place, foster place or home by Friday 9 November.  Can anyone help?
