Blip WILLINGLY takes medication shock

i am soooo glad its working and blip's being all good - however i am mightly disturbed that there is such a thing as cheese and shrimp spread.
i was disturbed by the cheese and ham but that is one step too far!!!  why would anyone make that 
i may need to go for a lie down to recover from the disgustingness that the description is.
this is something made for humans??  why - - - WHY?!?!?!!?

at least its helpful for puss cat medication though - very good news

I knew the Primula trick could never fail    Blip must think it's her Birthday EVERY day, the cheese and ham was Tiggy's favorite but she was also rather fond of the cheese and shrimp

Good to hear the plan worked christine, i meant to ask how she was going on it. Have you noticed any improvement?
Lola has been great since she started it, still has her funny hip action but isnt missing her jumps anymore and racing around like a loony again  iv just reduced her to a half capsule in the morning 

I really think cosequin is flavourless as lola eats it in her normal food  shhhssh

Our vet prescribed Cosequin for Blip as she has an ever-so-slightly stiff right hip.  It is like glucosamine for us and lubricates the joints.  I posted some long time ago: you would not notice anything untoward in Blips movement, but with a mothers eye, I did (everyone on here will know what I mean).

Sorry Christine I think i must have missed what is the matter with the little lady and I dont even know what consequin capsules are for so cant even hazzard a guess 

I hope i never have to use primula on the cats here though, i'd have to fight off michael first as he loves the stuff

Good on you  - it's the old 'spoonful of sugar' if you ask me!
I used slices of roast beef with the pill wrapped up inside for my oldest cat Habibi - it did the trick everytime. I wasn't sure though, if he was just being difficult because he knew he could con me into that very special treat!!

I hope Blip is alright though - I can't find a thread (yet) to see if you already mentioned it before.

This is really just by way of a thank you  to all the folks who advised me how to medicate Blip, who is very unco-operative where that is concerned.  She resists (vigourously) the direct approach and will not eat any food into which medication has been mixed.

However, mixing the powder from her Cosequin capsules into Primula cheese and ham spread not only works: Blip loves it    She actually licks it off the spoon for me 

This is a huge weight off my mind and Blip is delighted to have another treat on the menu.
