Hi Jan, hope you do decide to join us.

Yes, the stories sometimes are sad, but the great thing is that you can choose to read them or not and if you do, you find often times that many of us can find a way to help. Other times it just teaches the thigns we need to make sure we won't do or fight against others doing.

The other side of this forum is its great fun, we all enjoy raising much needed funds and  just chatting to one another. We have a great community here.

It would be great if Jan would join  ;D As Ruth says some of the stories are upsetting but many are inspiring and some are very funny  :)

Can't wait to see Jan's furbabes as they sound gorgeous  :Luv2:

Also Jan, we have an auction coming up with some great goodies to bid for  :ok: and all the money goes to the rescues  ;D

Stuart, Jan sounds like a wonderful person who obviously has alot of knowledge and compassion and I'm sure she would have a lovely time on Purrs.

So Jan ..... come on down .... and join the mad house!  We would love to meet you and your furry family  ;)
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

I think that Jan would find that Purrs is a great place to be cos although we have the sad stories we also have the uplifting ones too. ;D

She sounds that she may have knowledge that would help others and obviously loves cats so much, she will take in the waifs and strays that need a lot of help.

Sooooooooooo where ever you are Jan, get on Purrs now cos we also have a lot of fun  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

An Old Friend of My sister's was up visiting and I managed to have a wee chat to her and catch up
I first met Jan about 16 and a Half years ago when I got Misty and I took Misty to See Jan because
I knew she Loved Cat's :Luv:
Jan had two at the time " Reggie " a lovable B/W Puss ( I just Found out tonight he had FIV ) and
went to the Bridge at 16yrs of age  :(
Her other Puss was a Massive Ginger Tom Called " Garfield " He was a rescue, and Jan was not sure
of His age because He was Old when she got Him, But Garfield had been Kicked when He was younger >:(
He'd had to have an eye removed and was Parallised down the left side of His face because of it  :(
Jan would have to Clean the left side of His mouth every time after eating because if the food was
left there it would rot and cause infection ( I really admired Jan for that )

anyway Jan Moved Back down South and now stay's in HaverHill, Suffolk
Jan was a Vetinary Nurse for 5 years, but then became a nurse and is now a midwife, the reason
for change of job was all the Sad Story's and experiances she'd encountered and it's the main
reason why she won't join PURR'S ( does not want to read the emotional story's on here ) But
I have Gave Jan the PURR'S website addy, and told her to have a look anyway, so Finger's crossed  ;)

Jan is Currently owned by 3 FurrBabes( I have told Her to Send Me Piccy's )
5yr old Henry a Russian Blue who is blind in one eye which is totally Black, He came from the Blue Cross
(Cambridge Branch) and is Semi Feral, and will really give her a bite at times, But Jan Say's He's Still Lovely  :Luv: :naughty:

6yr old BooBoo a Huge Tabby Girl, who was FTGH and jan's had Her for 3yrs

then last but not least there's
Jodie who is only 9 months old, she was Named after the Vet who saved Her, she came in after a Bad
RTA and had 2 badly smashed Leg's, the main vet said it was best for her to be PTS, but the vet Jodie
was determined to mend Her, which she did :Luv: Jan Came into the vet's and was asked do you want
a Cat?? when she saw Jodie, she couldn't refuse, but she had to be kept in a cage for a while because
her leg's were still healing :( Jan has told me she has came on in leaps and bound's  :wow:
but hopefully She may yet Join PURR'S and tell you her story Herself

But I will get the Photo's and update this Post a.s.a.p ;)
