Have just spent the last 40 mins doing some serious cardio exercise... not as part of my new healthy regime but in an attempt to 'frontline' the boys! I do it once a month and have never had any real problems apart from not being very good at applying it to the skin. I decided to do Riley first as he is much more malleable than Lukey. When wedging him between my knees didn't work (he either wriggled out backwards or bolted forwards) I tried to wrap him up in a towel so that he was wedged between my knees and couldn't bolt forwards due to being wrapped up... or so I thought
After chasing him round for what seemed like hours I finally got him wrapped up and wedged, but everytime I managed to find a suitable parting in his fur he wriggled out of my grip. He was squealing pitifully as though I was attacking him. Finally got him, had to be really rough but needs must
Next for Lu Lu aka Mr Suspicious
took a few minutes to convince him to have his treats as he had seen Riley being pinned down and 'tortured' so when he ventured forwards to eat his milky flake ums I leapt on him
Poor boy was actually quite good and froze to the spot, I was so surprised I ended up squirting the pipette all over his fur and didn't get very much at all on the skin
Anyone use the flea injection? Can't remember what it's called but think I'm going to be asking the vet about it before next month comes around all too quickly
Butter wouldn't melt?
