Below was taken from her website. When I saw her doing a reading last night, at one point, she said 2 black cats were beside her. She said (In a friendly way) go away - then to the audience - "passed animals can't talk to me." But she acknowledges their existence.

Hi MIa , I read that there is a time to be born and a time to die. So what happens when you put your cat to sleep etc. Surely your free will is then imposed on the pet. I do frequently see my cat who was put to sleep 3 years ago. He's always on my bed in the night but i do worry i altered his life path a little. Jaine
Dear Jaine, This is an interesting question, as I (as well as lots of people) have been in the awful situation of having to put a pet to sleep. But I think the same basic rules apply to all life and death situations. If someone is murdered, their choice is taken away but it was still their time to go. If someone commits suicide, then they have altered there path, but it was still there time to go. When farmers kill cattle for food, that animal still has a spirit, and the same rules apply, so it is their time to die. In the same way, when we have an animal put to sleep, it is because we don’t want it to suffer any more and if it was not its time to go then it would make a recovery, so that act doesn’t happen that day. So please be assured that your cat knows that you love him, and all that you did was because of that love. It is this love that draws him to visit you. I would just like to add, that when I pick up animals in spirit I cant talk to them, just see and feel their emotions, so once again the life force continues after death in a similar way as on earth Mia xx
