Thanks Angie and MM for that advice, I'll pm you their details Angie.

Alfie's virus isolation test was also negative for both flv and fiv, which bodes well for the rest of the crew. Unfortunately the eight I have are the tip of the iceberg re the feral problem in the area. This will have to be a TNR job for CP. Once I've homed these, I'll give myself a little rest then tame some others ready to rehome as domestics. I've enjoyed doing it, and it will break my heart to part with them. At least I'll see Alfie occassionally when I visit Rebekah - she's taking him next weekend. He'll love living with her and her motlley crew of four cats and placid blind dog. She's had ferals before, at the moment she has a feral mother and her two sons; the mother made her home in R's shed and had the kits there, so R took them in.

Any other advice concerning rehoming would be very welcome, thanks.

HK we sometimes have enquiries from Birmingham.
I'd be happy to put them on our website if you can provide writeups of them.
We have had some success with people taking on cats that were not technically part of the group.

They look really relaxed, well done   ;D
Some rescues will keep a book of people who have cats to home and will refer people to you if they have nothing suitable themselves. Worth going through catchat and ringing them all  ;D

Will sort out one of Alfie soon.

R had him tested for FLV etc. The in house test was negative, and she's waiting for the results of the virus isolation test. Fingers crossed!

I've finally got round to taking a vid of the rescued ferals; unfortunately I only have a webcam, so the quality isn't great. I video'd them so that I could get some stills to put on their leaflets.

Apart from vets, where would other peeps recommend I distribute the leaflets. Rebekah, who is having Alfie (not pictured, as I wasn't doing a leaflet for him) is helping by putting some up in the teacher's room where she works, and her local vets. I want to avoid homing them in my area because it's 90% student - they caused the problem in the first place.

In order, here are Smudge (tortie and white), the ginger twins, Newbie (tortie and tabby), Fred (black and white),
