Yes Helen, I think they're coming along.  I still can't pick them up, but they do allow strokes.  Portia let me rub her tummy the other day, but some days they get a bit silly and go back to scaredy cat mode.  But considering what they've been through, I'm really proud of them  :Luv: :Luv:

I think someone has bought Portia a wristwatch.  While I was putting out their breakfast this morning having got up at 6.30 for their benefit, she stood by the door waiting and you could almost see her looking at the time and tapping her paw because I wasn,t quite as quick as she wanted.  Cats!  Who in their right mind would have 'em.  Just as well we're all nuts  :Luv: :Luv:

Portia is a prude - she'll grow into one of those old ladies who tut about the youth of today!  I was thinking this morning how beautiful cats are as I was watching Ollie twisting up in the air to cat da bird.  Wish I was that graceful.

You're right BC , that is just what Ollie is like  :Luv: :Luv:

you just described Esther and Smidgen. She is such a lady, always quiet, restrained and well-presented. He is a rowdy hooligan who reminds me of those little boys who are rude, naughty and loud, then come and cuddle up to you so nicely you let them get away with it even when you know they need a good talking to ...

Portia Puss is turning into Little Miss Perfect!  Got up this morning and Ollie was galloping around looking as batty as can be and Portia was standing by the door looking like a headmistress giving out detentions.  After they'd eaten Ollie has a wash (2 licks at his rear end) while Portia works steadily for 20 mins getting clean.  Ollie then leaps to top of new big cat tree - she sits at the bottom, paws neatly together.  When he played with da birdie he tried to get her to join in and she biffed him on the nose!  Now she is sitting by the window with her butter wouldn't melt look - and she finished Ollie's lunch while he wasn't looking.  They are sooo different but I love them to bits.
