after talking to my uncle it is decided that they would be best living somewhere with garden access  it also emerged that milo is a bit of a bully and i was worried that
a) he would pick on Phoenix as she's tiny for her age as he picks on molly already and she gets depressed by it.
b) there both older and i thought that this would cause unrest as with my uncles two may try to take over as there both predatory were as Gimley is a scardey cat of late.

so after all the excitement my uncles going to see if his ex will keep them.
the only problem know is i want to get a couple of kittens which i think is going to be an issue as the re homing policy of the local rescues suck frankly one wont home in a bad area another wont home if you live within 150 yards of a busy road not sure if this would apply to indoors. one rarely homes indoor cats i could go one but i won't
 any ideas guys
 :thanks:

It's good that they've got somewhere where they will be safe and loved lined up if your uncle or his ex can't keep them.  Lots of cats don't have that luxury sadly, keep us posted

there is enough room in the flat yes. my two were outside 20 hrs a day before they came to live here and have adjusted well to an indoor life. they will only be coming here if my uncles ex cant take them when she moves out of the house as she will be back to renting rooms again so it may not happen yet i will just have to wait and see.

The only problems I Can see are: will you have space in a flat to isolate the newcomers until they all get used to each other, and the fact the newcomers are used to going outside, it could cause issues. I would talk to rescues in the area just in case they dont get on.

went over to my uncles today and saw one of his cats molly was sat on the lawn surrounded by pigeon feather. Shes the most gorgeous grey tabby I've seen so it looks like if things go the way expected they will be coming here. I mean how could i say no to those gorgeous eyes of hers, she was purring like a sweetie. My OH says four is the max we can have that is till next time lol

Hey guys,
got a bit of a dilemma after a conversation with my uncle tonight it seems that his relationship is in tatters his girlfriends a  :censored: and a gold digger which drove him to drink and  so he may be moving back in with my Nan.
He has asked my to possibly take on his two cats one female one male both 20 months old(spayed neuted and vaccinated).I don't know if i should, yes i want them to be safe and not end up on the streets(worried what will happen to them if they don't come here)  and theres no chance of my Nan having them at hers as she hates anything with fur. :shify:
my problem is this we have only had our two furballs for two months would adding two more cause unrest to them my two are from the same litter and are very close. would the relationship change? would four be too many in a flat would it be allot more work.my uncles cats are also used to the outdoors but my two were also but are now happy indoor cats and its not feesable to let them out. I'm so torn i want to give them a loving home but don't want to upset the balance either. i did want to get more Kitty's but hadn't envisaged it quite so soon
 :thanks: in advance
Helen
