bob martins is not worth the money you paid for it. Get something better from the vets. It was probably BM that the rescue used which is why your babe is still infested...

Thats exactly what the vet told me when I used Bob Martin Flea stuff  :)

um. they are generally found under the heading 'links' on the menu just below your search option ... zooplaus, vetuk or similar will be useful locations for you.

You can get Frontline cheaper off the internet and if you use one of the links on here (no idea where they are though!! There are a few rescues to choose from, not sure if ours is on here yet), then the rescue get a commission too. Tablets can be tricky, there is a knack to getting their mouth open, and down in one!!

I used spot on flea treatment for kitty last week as i know it sounds harsh but just couldnt afford too take her to the vets this time due too change off jobs and gf being out of work due too illness,
I think spot on will be better than tablets but might try tablets thing is i wont be able to discise them in food for kitty as shes too fussy

...really is simple.

First, catch your cat    All my animals, including the dog, flee at the sound of one of those little glass vials snapping    But on a more serious note, it is considerably less painful for you and less stressful for your cat, if you can use a spot-one treatment. My only objection is that it means the cat is that much older and more muscular the first time you really need to administer tablets. I prefer to train mine into the habit when they are still small enough for me to do it one-handed

For fleas, Frontline, and for worms, I personally use Milbemax, but Drontal is cheaper (just a bigger tablet, and I struggle with them). There are spot on wormers now that do both, so it is just a case of holding cat, and putting liquid on back of neck, really is simple.

Thats what i was thinking easier plus cheaper as too get all 3 done at the vets would end up costing a fair bit,
What are the best products too use?

Ive decided im not letting the kittens out untill they are atleast 7/8months and by then they will have had vaccinations plus been spayed

No, but she did say a CP branch, and they have to produce paperwork for HQ, so I doubt they would be allowed to purchase BM wormers.
Tez, it would be easier for you to learn how to do flea and worm treatment at home now you have 3 cats, the vet nurse can show you how. Kittens do eat loads, I Can't think of other things off hand that could cause them to do that, but T is the expert.

I wouldnt be so sure with this branch of cats protection because they told me they had not had jabs due too being too young at the time i thought fair enough as i was unsure but then after reading up and asking on here they are old enough for vaccinations so im none too pleased

forgot it was sunday tommorrow  :-[
kitty always has her flea treatment done at the vets same with worm treatment.
I have never had kittens so im very inexperienced
What else could it be? they eat loads too but think thats due to them being kittens

I thought not, but was not sure of the rescue from which they were obtained. There are some less reliable ones around, from what I have heard on the grapevine ...

BC - I highly doubt CP would use Bob Martin.
Vets prob wont be open on a Sun, but I would try and get hold of the rescue and ask what they were done with and when, you dont want to overdose such young kittens.

You need to get proper wormers and flea treatments from your vet, the ones you mention are a waste of time. all kittens quickly re infest with worms and need monthly treatment up to the age of 6 months. Kitten rubbing bottom on floor is not necessarily worms, it could be other things,as kittens are due vaccinations I would get them checked over and mention problem to vet and get decent wormers etc at same time.

Have any of you ever used bob martins spot on wormer?
Does it work? also is it safe too use on 11 week old kittens? it states on the packet that it is as long as they weigh over 2kg but just wanted some advice?
Many thanks.

PS: Im really annoyed with CPL as that is were i got the kittens from apparently that had been wormed just before i got them but tiggy was rubbing her bum across the floor earlier
