it is almost 20 years since I lost little Blossom the water cat and I remember her fondly today as I have always remebered her.
She was as black as coal but sprinkled about her coat and dear face was the purest cream, perhaps a touch of red here and there but not much and absolutely not white;her eyes where huge amber/orange orbs.
when she used to sit high up on the stairs and look down at me, she was so black that all I could see where splodges of cream and it always reminded me of seeing the blossom on the trees....hence her name, Blossom.
The water cat part came from her love of running water....well just water, she loved it , but running water was her joy. she quite often sat on the side of the bath I was in and played with the water. she would drink from a running tap, and if ever I couldnt find her all I had to do was turn on a tap, let the water run and she would come zooming in.
She was my joy!
I lost her to feline lukemia and she died in my arms, I miss her to this day.. I think perhaps Mrs Moggs is herself reincanated as I got MM at the same age I lost Blossom the water cat.
this thread is so loving a place to remember our long ago kits.
