are you sure they're just stains from eating? My cat has darkened areas on her gums but thats due to gum disease.............

Stains on gum from food
« Reply #1 on: December 07, 2006, 22:27:41 PM »
Me Gizzy has always had food stains on his gums from eating. He gets bits occasinally on his nose but mainly on his gums, they are small dark stains that don't wash off. It is better since he has got older. Just wondering if anyone else has this? He is his normal mad self ,playing, eating & drinking well etc and has had stainy bits  since a 7 week old lad (now he's 16 months old) I feed him Felix and Hills.
