Ooo i didn't know that Ela. Will be careful in future what i pick for them Thanks.  :) one of the things i gave to them was a brand new corner suite cover that you hook over the side of a couch and it has a sheeps wool fur blanket at the back, side and bottom. I bit of luxury for me boys i thought having their own specail place on the sofa! Na they still wanted our seats instead!!! :-: !!

CP are not allowed to sell anything electrical unless SCORN tested, and all soft toys must have the CE mark

I'm sure any rescue can use stuff like that on stalls to make them money. When Bournemouth CP was having their stall a while back i took down all me unwanted stuff and they were very happy for it. Of course that was before last year when i now save all me unwanted for the auctions on CC and here!!

Tell ya what i would love to win that lottery cause i would be going round every rescue dishin out dosh!! :donate2:

Hi Tan, what sort of stuff do the CP take to sell? I have a digi camera and a few of my son's bigger toys im wanting to get rid of, they work he's just grown out of them, I was thinking of giving them to my local CP as they have recently helped me with a stray.

You should donate them to your local rescue and they will sell them. :)

I have a large amount of sci-fi/fantasy books (OH only reads that sort of stuff) at home.  Once read, they never get touched again.  I tend to drop them of at our local Oxfam book shop but I thought if any of the rescues reasonably near to me (Dorset) want them for their carboot/fundraising then I'm happy to drop them off.

Also, I have an old (6 years) digital camera Fujifilm MX1200, 1.3 mega pixels with 16MB card - would any of the rescues be interested in that one.  It can reasily be posted.  If you want to read up on it here's a link:  http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/MX12/M12A.HTM

The camera has been in a drawer for 2 years, so I will reload the batteries and check everything is in working order.

Not sure I posted  in the correct category.   It's sort of do do with rescues.  Sorry Tan -feel free to move it.

Best wishes, Chris, Samson, Buddie and Pepper
