Hello all
Thanks for all your lovely messages! Yes, I am so happy that he is doing well. You should see him now, we are approaching Winter here and I can definitely see that because Samui takes over my pillow completely at night. I try giving him another pillow but no he wants to be next to me on mine, and who can say no to that
... Sullivan sleeps on my legs so I can hardly move. They are really like two peas in a pod!
Doctor Bauer said the recovery period is anything from 4 to 6 months, so it is still a while to go. I am not sure how much the eye will improve from here, but I can definitely see the change because I still give him the drops every day. The graft is becoming part of the eye if I can put it like that. I am just really thankful that he can see and every day I see him playing I want to cry (happy tears though) because I realise what could have happend. As awful as this experience was it has also been amazing in some ways - meeting you all, your help, support, this has given me faith in people again.
Phew, with the power cuts we're having it is hard to get everything done at work during the day.... that is why I can't get on every day, although I want to.
I am looking for some pics to load.
