No sign of him  :(

A lady in my office reckons she has seen him on Wednesday but she was certain the younger b&w was him before so I am doubting it was Charlie - esp as nobody else has seen him - I had everyone in my dept giving me "charlie reports" they would ring me if they saw him and there is even a service user that talks to me and she hasnt seen him either.

Three weeks today  :'( I hate how I will never know what happened if I don't see him again.

I'm sure he'll be fine Dawn   Cats have a habit of disappearing at the times when you need them around.  The little white one that had been abandoned turned up out of the blue as he'd been awol for a few days as well, I'm keeping everything crossed that he's safe and well, xxxxx

Is your place of work open on a weekend?  It might be worth going down there early evening and seeing if he turns up......I would leave a stash of food down for him just in case and then try the trap again if he appears  ;)

A week gone now and no sign  :'(

I am starting to fear the worst with him now I know he is ill and the weather we have had the past week.

I heard the rain hammering down last night and wanted to cry my eyes out for him out there. I really really hope he is okay. :sad no:

I will keep an eye out Dawn.  :shify:

I have only seen him twice now so I am hoping he has a home - will be easier to see once Charlie has gone because maybe sometimes i have thought it was him from the distance as it is another B&W.

Fingers crossed Charlie appears before 5pm, really want to get him out of the rain.  :(

Trap works anyway - just went out to check and I caught the other, younger B&W cat I only realised existed yesterday. He made really sad meow noises at me til I let him out. Then he looked gutted cause he wanted the pilchards  :tired:

Let me know about this one as I'm sure I can get somewhere lined up for him if he is a stray.

i'm not sure if this one is stray - havent got a clue   :( I hope not but I will see how often I see him once Charlie is gone. He is definitely younger and in much better condition so I hope he has a home.

I will end up being feral superhero for this site

I know how you feel, Dawn, because I caught someone's pet ginger when I was trying to get my tabby feral mum.  :innocent: I felt so sorry for the poor basket I gave him a whole tin of sardines to himself when I released him. We was lifelong pals after that!

Come on, Charlie! Stop playing us about... we're waiting!  :waiting:

Good luck Dawn, if you give me a ring when you've got him and I'll sort out a time for picking him up.  I've got to pick a cat up to take to the vets, and also a homecheck to do in Wrexham and hopefully I should be around then  :tired:

Fingers crossed here too.

Edit: would it help to put your contact details on the notice?  It asserts ownership in case anyone has any funny ideas, and you may be told sooner if someone finds him in there.

Grrrrr I've typed this three times not and internet explorer has crashed...

I am going to put my number on there - was just thinking that myself. I wont be able to pick up but I will at least know if something is up and someone is trying to get hold of me if it rings and I can run over on 10 min break from the lecture.

I am also going to put the rescue who own the trap on there.  ;D

I have set the trap - behind my car as that is where he gets his food.

Yummy pilchards  hope he goes in there and isnt hiding somewhere different from the rain.
I've covered the top of the trap with a bin liner and put a sign on the top that says "Please do not disturb, trapping unwell animal for vet visit"

Fingers crossed!

Yes good luck,

Don't worry to much about him being in the cage. I've just picked up the last (hopefully) cat/kitten from the barracks. The trap was left overnight and the cat seemed quite chilled about being in the cage.
