Becca as Gill has said she cannot use a litter tray as she cannot hold herself up she lies on her side so uses countless puppy pads. She does not produce enough saliva because she is unable to chew properly so her teeth suffer and she has periodic medication and we clean her teeth twice daily.
We try to treat her as  a normal cat and allow her to be independant as much as possible
I think what she needs most is understanding and lots of patience.

Today she is back to her happy self.

So glad that Mopsie is back to herself.

If she doesn't mind me asking... what does she need that is different to or in addition to what other cats need?

Had a word with the vet about our Minimopsical this morning and he says it is pure exhaustion as the spasms take a lot out of her. Shes had a minute in the garden and eaten her breakfast and has now retired to her Tent. :)

Hope she's feeling better now. I'm sure spasms, like epileptic fits are exhausting and she probably feels knackered and a bit spaced out. Hope she's hopping around like normal tomorrow, poor baby  :ahh:

Minimopsical came out of her tent at 5pm and asked for her tea, exactly 1 hour late; tea eaten she used the toilet and retired back to her tent. She is walking more like her normal self now; I guess the spasms have just exhausted her.
