Lets hope she gets the same devotion she got at Caroline's - she melts hearts so I'm sure she will. Shame the lady didn't give you a bit more money but at least another one has gone to a good home.

Sorry about the other 2  :'(

Not sure if i kept this up to date. But Lillys tumour was benign a sweat gland something or other and was completely removed.. She thus had her stitches out today, but got rehomed this evening. to the lovely lady with the mansion... Gave us a £75.00 donation which was great and probably just about covered her veterinary treatment, but the main thing is that she got a lovely home out of it.. Will phone the lady who brought her in to tell  her.. Lovely Lilly is going to keep  her name as well.

Arr well about time we had a happy ending, two cats had to be PTS this week so its been very sad........

I keep missing such important things!!

Way to go, Lilly! Well done, Sharon.  :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

No matter what Lilly's long term future holds, I think she'll be treated like a queen and we can trust this lady to give her the best vet care.  :Luv: And what a deserving puss too and she nearly broke my heart when I first heard about her.

I've gone all gooey eyed...  :'( :Luv:

Hi all
The thing with Kent is that we stil have abit of countyside and many people communute from London.. In the last year have had some fabulous homes for cats.. very rural and very expensive... This lady in particular admitted to being a dog person for many years but took in a stray a while back and nursed back to health.. Try turned out to be pregnant and had her kittens in a house a few blocks away from her.. those people who were also feeding her reported to her to the RSPCA and she was spayed and kittens rehomed.. They were deverstated!! She was a lovely mild mannered lady and just wanted to do what she could for another female puss with a hard luck story.. Normally i woundnt of mentioned Lilly as she isnt officially up for rehoming yet.. But couldnt miss such a lovely home.. I explained about her condition and the tumour and she wasnt fazed at all... She uses the most expensive vet around for her horses and when is said to her i doubt the pool would be a problem she was much relieved....When i asked about her garden, she told me "oh my dear i have acres of garden, takes a day to cut the lawn"..... Oh my... think i will move in as well...

Mind you Baz's new home although not being so grand is like being in a middle of an island, a converted oast house up a dirt road! BTW he is doing fabulously well...............Probably forgotten all about us..

What a lovely call, not many people ring me up not wanting a perfect cat, but one most in need.

I just dont understand these people myself, I really dont - when we contacted our local rescue all those years ago I told her to describe only the puddy most in need.  So I totally understand this lady.

Great news for little Lilly, anyway  :wow:

I think and fingers crossed that whatever happens to Lilly and we hope its good news. I have already found her a home to be loved... This home is more like a mansion actually, a lady rang me to ask if we had any deserving cats that needed extra TLC no matter what they had wrong with them.. The only previso was it had to be female.. Of course Jesiri is male but Lilly fits the bill and as soon as i know her results next week, i may of already allocated her a very posh home to go to... The lady had worries about the "swimming pool" and the horses in the yard.. I think Lilly would handle all of that.. What a lovely call, not many people ring me up no wanting a perfect cat, but one most in need. Shame i could not convince her for Jesiri but he want be going any where for a while and you never know may end up staying!! But i say that will all of them...

Little Lilly went to RB and he successfully removed the lump.. She is now at Carolines.. The lump apparently was well encased and although he said it looked nasty and had been their for some time, he was satified that he had got a good margin around it and it didnt look as though it had spread.. They took a biopesy to be sent away. Meanwhile she has a few stitches on her face and some eyedrops for eyes and maybe will also have a dropey eye from now on but seems fine.. Caroline has now brought her indoors...for some one to one...

So kind of good news... Poor sweetie.

Lilly is going to be kept in overnight and operated on tomorrow. Postive vibes everybody that this tumour is benign and can be sorted out, as things will not be good if they are not due to the whereabouts it is, so near the eyes..

She is a dear little cat, lets all hope we can do something!

Little Rupert and Lauren will be going to their forever home in the next day or so. They are going to that mum and daughter you did the HC on...These 2 kittens were found in a box under someones car in Canterbury, unfortunately one didnt make it.. Lauren is a very unusual colour... Another happy ending.......Nothing serious wrong with them, other then fleas, worms and good food for a few weeks.

Lets hope that Lilly has an equally happy ending...

I will go over Caroline's tomorrow if its OK with her - I passed her house on the way back from canterbury today but didn't like to go without calling 1st.

Reminds me - Did the girl follow up with the kittens Rupert & Lauren?

aww I love her markings. She's really beautiful.

I hope all ends well. Fingers crossed that there are no metastases.

My only worry is that it isnt a secondary originating from another lesion downstream.
