Ask about their Direct Rehoming scheme

Good advice but not all branches have a Direct homing scheme, we found there were too many problems. People told untruths about the condition of cats, the temperaments and often they were  found to have fleas and worms and of course because CP had some dealings it was our fault. We found often within days of re-homing it was not working out and then we were expected to bring in the cat and it was not then waiting its turn on the list.

It is only when we take cats in and  monitor them for a while that we can assess properly what type of home is right for them.

The owners work during the day but they are always in in the evening.  They have another cat called Morris which they had off me, he is a gorgeous one-eyed tabby and they love him to bits.  They love Midge as well but sadly Midge just will not accept his new home.  He was a semi feral and was really loving whilst with me, but some do tend to revert back a little on rehoming until the trust is gained, Midge spends all his time hiding when they come home so for his sake, he'll have to come back as he's obviously not happy

hello, yes he gets on with everyone and everything. he wouldnt mind be indoors as long as he gets piles of attention.  he is fantastic.

Would he be okay as an indoor cat?  I'm asking as I may be able to help with this particular one anyway.  I rehomed a couple of mine a few months ago, one has settled down really well but the other just isn't happy.  I said I will take him back but obviously we don't want Morris being on his own.  At the moment, I haven't got any in suitable as most of mine are wildies or too young    I'm wondering whether he would get on with Morris as he sounds perfect and he's roughly the same age as well

hello, thank you. the nearest is in preston and they ahve a huge waiting list. i have quite a few rescued cats here that are desperate for a home of their own.  james was found locked in an old hotel, very skinny and desperate for a cuddle !!! lets hope someone gives him a home. i have a pic of him, i will TRY and upload one !! thanks again

extremly lovable and friendly grey boy needs extra special loving home. he thrives on attention and is very talkative. he is about 12 months old and has been castrated. he is fine with cats and dogs and fantastic with people !!! this is a special cat, someone must have a place in their heart for him??? he is currenly in blackpool waiting for his new family to come along
