Oh sad news Caroline. IT was good to catch up with you all and sorry I could not stay long (hostessly duties with my houesguest). Nice to put faces to names and to have a chance to see cat rescue in action. I look forward to doing anywork that I can for you.

Thanks Blackcat and Mark for coming today.. It was so nice to see you and hopefully Blackcat will be able to help me out with posters.

The only bit of sad news there is one of Carolines Persians went to the vets today (one of the foster cats) and he has liver cancer,,, terminal i am afraid so not much to be done.. Caroline is a lovely fosterer and we knew these two wouldnt be with her for long, but its a sad story to end a lovely afternoon for her....

What a shame - is he the one that as the Lymphomas? - he was purring for england last night and seemed so contented  :'(
I know she is particularly fond of the persians and was cuddling him just before I left yesterday. As you said, Caroline is a lovely lady. I'm sure he couldn't be in a better place to spend his last days.

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

It was great to meet you, blackcat - and Mark and Sharon, of course, but we'd met before. Shame we never got a chance for a natter.  :(

I wanted to take all the cats and dogs home.  :Luv:

Cannot save the world, but if everyone does something we can have a jolly good job trying too....

it was like a deli counter -  Wine, tea, orange etc were drunk. We had a good old chinwag oh and at some point there was some talk of cats  :evillaugh:

It was really great. I met Blackcat, Pinkbear, Sharon and loads of others there. There were about 30 people there and people (not me  :evillaugh: ) brought food with them and there was some pretty impressive home made grub .- it was like a deli counter -  Wine, tea, orange etc were drunk. We had a good old chinwag oh and at some point there was some talk of cats  :evillaugh:

I did take some catfood though so Caroline's Persians will be dining on Perfect Fit tonight  ;D ( they are her "longterm" fosters - ie they will never get rehomed due to age/health but Caroline isn't complaining  :Luv: )
