just remember, you don't have to put up with work place bullying.  Keep a record of any incidents (just a note in a diary or small notebook) and if it happens again speak to your boss.  It's her legal responsibility to sort it out.  (Check employment advice sites for more ideas about what to do.)

Personally, next time she asks you how things are going, I would tell her - backed up by details of anything that's happened - and tell her what you want changed so you don't feel unhappy.  Perhaps that's why she asked?  Don't let it continue unchallenged.

 hope things all round improve soon.

Hope you can get Mango's breathing probs sorted, and sorry to hear how your workmates are treating you, that must be really unpleasant, and just when you'd found a job you really like too.

Poor Mango - I hope she feels better soon! It's worrying when they are not well, but glad she has a new friend in Luna as that should keep her perky in the future.

CC there is nothing worse than an unhappy workplace. Hope you are working things out. If they are real  :censored: then maybe you can show them up by ignoring them and being dignified about their behaviour. There really is nothing you can do personally to address the issue as they are feeling threatened by your competence and if you also demonstrate competence by attempting to speak them about it calmly you will just intimidate them more. I have tried the alternative option (shrieking back at them) and it doesn't work - believe me. You are the new-comer and the boss will assume it is you who are the problem. Do you feel you know the boss well enough to discuss your concerns? Chin up and keep up the good work - with your babies as well as your job.

when i got her they all had a bath in the same shampoo , moomin took ages to get used to mango so im not surprised shes upset , i think she is scared of luna cause she has been picked on in the past by neighbourhood cats
i am worried though that moomin might hurt her scrath her or summat and luna is a show kitten

im trying to do it on moomins turms , i am pleased mango loves her cause she needed a indoor friend although i think playing with each other ha set mangos breathing off so they are separated untill mango bit better she needs rest and vet has told me to put a fan on her fr temp

Hi, it's good to hear about Luna as I have two new kittens as well.  I also have two older cats.  Sorry to hear that Mango is suffering but at the same time I am glad you have a vet who will listen.  Perhaps you could keep Moomin in for a few days and give her a special room as a bolt hole.  That way the Feliway can work and she will only expose herself to Luna as and when.  Also she will get used to Luna's smell.  Meanwhile am so glad Luna is a lovely kitten.  P.s. I also tried putting vanilla extract under their chins and at the base of the tail so all they can smell is vanilla not new cat.

hello all just to update you on little luna
she is doing well eating playing very cute she walks to heel for her meat and sits  :evillaugh: she is very intelligent

mango is ill again  :( she was fine playing wi luna last night ad eat all breakfast then she went down hill , sleepy , eyes looked different and she looked generally ill , i took her stright to vets and temp 41 she had antibiotics and new vet spent ages looking into her breathing she agreed that it is all upper resp and that she is going to do some more invsti into her face looking for pollips in nose , trachia probs or extra skin in back of throat , she has also  done a operation on a bull dog to make nostrils bigger so she will consder it on mango if she cant find anything eles , i showed her the article on laser but she cant do that , it was from america
thank god someones listening , i have to go back tomorr to see my vet and her togeather
poor mango wont come out from under the bed she really worries me . her breathing is actually ok just a little wheese but she does pick up other infections easyer because of her breathing

and moomin, well , she wont accept luna yet she refuses to come in only to sleep and eat and runs away hissing when she does
i got some felliway but she wont stay in long enough for it to work  :tired:

I am likeing me job at the catterywith the cats  however, the women are awful to me, really bitchy  :-[ when manager not there , i think its cause i know about cats and just get on wi it , cleaning wounds/eyes  , feeding , cleaning and more cleaning and dont have to ask like the school leavers , i cought em talking about me the other day , i dont know why they have to be so mean , im not going to last much longer wiout loseing it . I feel like im back at school there all in late 40s and act like 14 yr olds
its getting to the point i dread going now and thats really sad . i like been wi the cats i dont mind all the poo and need the money but not this bad  :(
