I am just following cody around and watching like a hawk at the mo...I am absolutely petrified he decides to christen my new carpets  :scared:

Theres a chemical they use on/in carpets that smells like cat wee. My dad was adamant that George had been a naughty boy in their room, i was certain he hadnt & blamed the new carpet, if you google it you'll find out.  ;D

When I was a little girl we had a cat called Ellie, she was always getting into mischief. One day she decided to play with the washing basket and managed to get her head stuck in one of the gaps. My Mum spent ages cutting the basket to get her out.

We think that she must have jumped in there to play, then curiousity got the better of her and she stuck her head through the gap. We knes nothing of it until we could hear the banging of her rolling around trying to get it off. She is on the bridge now - I just hope she stays away from washing baskets!

Mosi is absolutely fine.  He proceeded to tear around the kitchen and jump onto the worktop just as I was getting out an egg to hardboil for sandwiches today.  He knocked the box onto the floor.  Thankfully there were only 3 eggs in it.  He then tore around the flat knocking things over, jumping on top of my keyboard (pressing all sorts of keys and doing funny things to my monitor) and knocking the mouse onto the floor.  Then he started terrorising Jaffa (who gave as good as he got).  Then we had half an hour with the laser and he finally went to sleep at about midnight.  6am this morning  he was bouncing around again.

Wot are they like?  I remember once when Paddy was little and got his paw stuck in the gas fire (thank God it wasn't on!)

We had to dismantle it to get him free.  Then his little brother Flynn shot up the chimney when we had the gas fire taken out and a real fire put in - he managed to sneak behind the fireguard.  He was filthy when we got him down - it took days and some spcial shampoo from the vet to get him properly clean again.  He was such a little grubber!

Hope Mosi's none the worse for his escapade.

Well nearly!  I've just spent over half an hour trying to get Mosi out from behind the boiler.  He squeezed between it and the wall (a tiny gap), and then seemed to get stuck.  I've spent ages trying to entice him out.  He managed to turn around in the corner but didn't seem able to get back through the gap he'd crawled into.  After about 20 minutes of gently coaxing and cursing I used a mop handle to get his attention.  He edged a bit nearer the opening trying to grab that and eventually I was able to grab a paw and yank him out.  I'm knackered now and sweating buckets.

The little monkey's not at all repentent.
