........... and if you are feeling particularly wasteful - a large ball of cellotape, sticky side out, will provide hours of pleasure ... (with the added advantage of collecting lint from the furniture ....

Imogen loves emery boards too. Basil went through a phase of carrying a bit of cat litter about with him - he'd bring in a big piece, carry it upstairs then drop it from the top, chase it down and then take it back up again...

Not sure whether it's the smell or the texture when she then chews them?

Monkey has a SERIOUS post-it fetish, too...  In particular the little strip ones that you use for marking pages etc. I use loads of them to mark stuff in books and magazines, and Monkey does his best stealing them. He drives me crazy sometimes!  >:( As punsihment, I occasionally put one on his forehead. It's the funniest thing in the world watching him crossing his eyes trying to see it, and working out how to get it off.  :evillaugh: Ok, maybe not very kind... but he started it! I have to get my revenge! (And also... he seems to enjoy it.)

Funnily enough, he is also crazy about emery boards... I have had to hide all of mine - he used to steal them, and I'd find them in the oddest places.

It's funny isn't what they'll be happy playing with, suppose like kids on Christmas day, more interested in the paper and the box the present came in, rather than the present itself. Teasel, back at my parents, loves emery boards, as soon as you start filing your nails she'll be there trying to get hold of the nail file. Not sure whether it's the smell or the texture when she then chews them? Oh well!   :)

hands down jaspers favourite thing!!!!  i have given up buying him toys - if he's lucky he'll get some different coloured post-its!!!
seriously, jasper'll be asleep in his chair, my dad reaches for the post-its.  as he peels one off jaspers eyes instantly open.  as he starts to screw it up small jaspers wide awake, wildly staring at the post-it.  my dad throws it and jaspers away!!!!!  he thrashes round the house for ages with the thing!!!  he picks it up in his mouth and walks around with it and sometimes brings it back to me to be thrown again.  he always gets the damn things under the sofa though, we pulled out the sofa the other day to find at least 15 used post-its  :evillaugh:
he's just been crashing around with a new one.  i spoil that boy.  does mean the tv has to be turned up though - light footed my boy is not!!!!

ah well. fun and games.  i'll just try to forget the gorgeous bed and lovely new scratching post i spent money i didnt have on and are now ignored!!!!  :tired: gotta love em though  :Luv:
