At the auction there were many bargains to be had. I purchased 5 Doulton figures for £14 and later after looking on e-bay found one alone was valued at £60. I am now donating them  to the shop so the cats are double winners.

Auctions funny things.,  5 Doulton figures for £14 yet an iced fruit cake with a cat on went for £23 or £24. I also purchased 2 swarovski  chrystal cats for £12 and 1 of those is on e-bay for more than I paid for the two, I expect they too will end up in the shop.

AUCTION

If anyone is in our area on Wednesday we have an auction, loads of good lots  including a helicopter ride, (they have as much chance of me bidding for that as I have of winning the lottery).  horse riding lessons,  football signed by Chesterfield football club players. (Yes they still do have a few fans.) It will be held at the  Rectory School rooms St Lawrence Rd,  North Wingfield Chesterfield, 7.45pm  - 9.45pm

Every penny raised will go towards rescuing more cats and kittens.
