I remember the first time you came into our home, it was snowing outside and you curled up in a sleeping bag.
I stayed up as long as i could but eventually had to go to bed, so had to move you upstairs.
But you must have thought i was putting you back outside, so you rolled backwards out of the sleeping bag and pretended that you was still sleeping on your back. It was so hilarious and one of my fondest memories of you.

Love you buddy and i know we will meet again and it will be a joyous reunion.

Thankyou, yesterday was 13 months. The months just keep coming but i will never forget this amazing boy who came in from the cold!

I do understand, 22/12/2016 it will be a year since my beloved Trouble passed, I am dreading it. I still feel him here with me, I still call him sometimes when I am doing the breakfast roll call out of the back door and then it hits me again. Even his Mum, Mogwai, every now and again I will be sitting on the bed and feel a headbut, turn around and she isn't there, she was run over about 14 years ago and I like to think that they are still around, still loving me, and I, them.

think Elvis paid me a visit last night, i could feel these little cat paws walking around my pillow behind me.

I looked at Buzz and he was upside down in his cat bed, then i turned around and nothing was there.

The amazing thing about cats, is that whenever we let one into our hearts, instead of having less love to go round, they weave that curious alchemy which results in there always being more love to go round.

i never thought i would love another one as much as i loved Rossi. it just goes to show there are lots of room in our hearts for our furbabies.
i'm ordering a stone for his grave. the boys are buried very close together like they were in life.
this year has been really rough losing two of my family inside 12 months, i know there are people here that have gone through the same thing.
which gives me strength.

Its such a hard time to go thro and there are always, I wishes

I lost my Ducha over night as it were, he just suddenly went down in 24 hrs and broke my heart. CKD is such a hard thing to deal with but I have to believe that that extra time with them is good for all. If it was swift then we would have much lesss time with our little friends and as long as they are not in pain............................

Buzz will help you thro this but only time starts the healing

I am so sorry for your loss. Please try not to feel guilty about not taking Elvis to the vet last week, you gave him every bit of loving care he needed and were with him at the end, what more could anyone have done?

RIP Elvis, run free at the bridge, free of pain and sickness.

Thank you all

We buried him this morning, i regret not taking him to the vet last week.
although his passing was quite peaceful, i am very traumatised by it.
i just tried to hold it together and told him everything would be alright
and that Rossi would be waiting for him on the bridge

These last few months i have felt like a nurse, washing his face, grooming him,
carrying him up and down stairs, giving medication.

I wish i could go to sleep for a year and come back when the pain is less.

It is with great sadness that today at 7.04am, my sweet gentle boy Elvis passed away in my loving arms
from CRF. I was glad i could be there with him this morning to ease his passing and got time to say goodbye.
We had been managing his condition for some time and we knew this day was coming, it does not make it any easier.
