:)   I suspect  "not-so-elderly" ladies in Brum - or Waltham Forest for that matter, would just as quickly be out in the snow in slippers at 2 a.m. if they heard a cat crying......

Elderly lady in slippers in snow at 2am as cats are crying, paints quite a picture Sheila  :(

Our Grouch sometimes howls during the night.  Its his thang  :innocent:  Usually I just call down to him from bed and he settles down but have to get up like a shot if mom is staying as she always gets up, worried sick and I have to bring him in to her to show her he's fine before she will settle.

You are a wonderful wumman Sheila  :cuddle:

Blimey, Sheila.  I take my hat off to you once again.  So much more than "just" a rescue.

Wonderful update, the lady who needed these traps has caught the three ferals from her Mums garden and they're being transferred to me today. I'm working in Manchester and will bring these kids to safety in London with one of our most trusted feral rescues. The lady's Mum is quite vulnerable, she's got dementia and has been feeding these cats fir some years, lately she's been found outside at 2am in her slippers in the snow because the cats were crying. So much more than just a cat rescue!

The power of facebook has come to the rescue (literally) and four traps have been located. I'm just the glamourous Chauffeuse on this one Gill, but thanks for the thumbs up. x

Dear Purrs pals. I'm helping with a transport run on Monday 23rd Jan, there are 4 feral cats in the YORK area that have been found a super placement in London. I can transport but the lady who is caring for them needs traps, or the assistance of someone who has a trap/s in the area.

Please let me know if anyone in the YORK area can lend a hand to get these guys in and out of the biting cold.

Thanks

Sheila
