Hi hunnies
Been a difficult week, litteally stayed with mr blue in the bedroom all last weekend with Hubby being kicked out
So Mr Blue has his revivers room with no other furkids and peace lol
Then Steve took over when I left.

He hated the recovery collar all weekend and kept hitting everything with it and eating ... gosh hoe hard is that with a cone on ya head!!
Thankfully he has settled and hasn't been too stress about being locked in one room since last Friday.
The eye with the op is healing nicely and the other side with the 3 tooth holes has stopped weeping and is sealing up well now :)
Latest photo sent today. :)

Back to vets on Monday and I hope he can have the cone off so he can go downstairs.

Garf is not happy about being locked out of his bedroom!!!

Xxxxxxx

Thanks sooo much for all ya well wishing and love  xxx

Sadly he isn't doing so great, after the op he was def better in himself and quite perky.
On Monday he was trying to lick above the other eye a lot and when we checked under the fur he has 3 deep tooth bites in a row which were all infected so we as well as the vets missed this. Just wasn't visable or felt as if there was any problem there. So back to vet Monday and cleaned wounds and keep extra antibiotic injection along with his tablets from the op.
Ok Tuesday looking bit better , 3rd eye lid healing well and the bites were dying up
Last night his 3rd eye lid went over his eye again very red with a lump :(
So back to vet 1st thing this am and so upsetting  he has to go and have another op tomorrow on it :( :(
Poor lad :(

It's so difficult as well trying to keep garf away from him as he is the alpha male and likes to make sure mr Blue knows it . Where mr blue went out for a bit With being ax ex stray, it kept the good balance of peace with indoor garf and marl. So there is tension in the house sadly.
And I am worrying of course a lot :(

Love and hugs to y all
Xxxx

glad he is home and well. Same thing happened to my pony many years ago he only had 1 eye and he ripped the 3rd eyelid open was very messy.  He had it all stitched back together under local anaesthetic and it  healed really well. (That was about 25 years ago now) not a cat but same injury ;D

Thanks sooo much  been a worrying  day.

He's back and it went well thank god And the vet lol

I kept I thinking all day it's such a small thin and delicate piece in his eye to stich how on earth can they do it!
But they seemed so at ease with it. I had to ask if it was common that they operate on the 3rd eyelid.
Amazingly they said they have never done it before and it is very rare. OMG

He was hungey and has had some white fish and now sleeping :)
I have ordered a soft collar but the vet hadn't put one on as he has been very good and not been near it but they gave me a plastic one just in case.
