2 weeks on and it doesn't get any easier and Mosi misses his buddy. There is still a huge Jaffa shaped hole in both our lives and the flat seems so empty without him. But we are coping and remembering the happy times. I am planning on getting an orange rose to plant in a pot as a memorial/tribute to my little gingerbread man. A nice, vibrant orange to celebrate the vibrant boy he was in his prime. Something cheerful to stand out the front which will make me smile and think of my boy every time I walk up to the front door.
Sue - Jaffa did retain his kittenish ways well into adult life. It was only really in the past couple of years that he slowed down and seemed like a more mature gent. He used to be famous for his mad half hours! He was a cat who liked to run (as opposed to lots of jumping) and loved chasing da bird type toys.
