I don't get the attraction with reptiles?!
Peeps on here know that I am phobic about ssssssnakes - but I wouldn't want to hurt one (unless it was him or me!). So I can't see the attraction but respect those who do.

 I adore water dragons and beardies etc though, I can certainly see why people have those.

I remember posting probably a few years ago about a lady at work who hated cats - apparently a few times a week she gets cat cr*p on her front garden - i just hope she comes back as one in need in her next life!

I think those that don't 'know' cats find their funny ways, aloofness and unpredictability off putting. I think you have to have a cat to understand them 

There aren't any animals I dislike, but I don't get the attraction with reptiles?!

It's house spiders that scare me, but i don't mind the others..... the little black and white jumping ones, money spiders and garden spiders they are all okay

I have a collie pup who was raised by my female cat. Nanny Ray. I like most animals. Not sure spidies qualify as animals :shocked:they are all right to look at, I just don't want to shake hands

I know what you mean. People say they love dogs but hate cats it's crazy. It's not ideal with things like the cats vrs dogs program that Chris Packham presented. Some people it seems like to make it a competition between the two - are you a dog or cat person? I love all animals and can admire their qualities.

Thankfully not a generally held view in UK.

Think it tends to be more of a male (dog) v female  (cat) split in UK altho very much less so now than it used to be thankfully

People who hate cats and say they are evil and can't be trusted..... You never hear of a cat eating anyone.
