I washed it as much as possible last night but noticed this morning some of it must have already penetrated the hair. It's just a small red patch and Ive had a further look, and it's just the top of the fur. He hasn't been grooming it so unlikely he's digested any.  Think I might give it a go cutting it out.

Just make sure it's thoroughly washed out, what colour is he now?

Hair Dye on Kitten

I was dying my hair last night and had lifted up my kitten to let my friend out the front door. He decided to jump off me and brushed against my head, getting a bit of hair dye in his back hind. I wiped off as much as I could but there's still a wee bit that's dyed the hair.
Am I best to leave it to wear off or cut his hair to cut it out?
