Another thing I find a little confusing is that you said you are doing a research project on the nutritional quality of cat foods
The questions don't seem to facilitate an analysis of that particular title. Have you talked it through with your supervisor so you can produce a survey with questions that will allow you to answer the question you have asked in the title (or should have asked) You may need to rethink the title of the dissertation or the topic you are studying and ensure the survey helps. Use plenty statistics and analyse the responses given to every question fully and individually then look for patterns and conclusions you can draw. Use these to answer your initial hypotheses. Remember that a negative result is still a result and needs written up as such. If you get no conclusive results it is still a result and you should try and work out where things needed changing and improving.
This is the basis of good science.

It depends how many responses you have and how many places you have put the survey.
Personally I would start again as your results are less valid if your do not make the changes now.
It is always a good idea to mention you did this in your write up as it shows you have noted the faults and responded. If you do start again you need to disregard the last lot of responses remember.

Thankyou everyone!

Unfortunately it appears that survey monkey does not allow questions to be changed to have multiple answers without deleting the entire question and all it's previous responses, which is a blow. Silly overlook on my part really.

So we can either do that, or everyone can just use the other box instead, please advise me on what would be best  for everyone.

Thanks!

Thanks for pointing out the 'other' problem  and other limitations everyone, it is now fixed! Survey monkey seems to be funny about these sorts of things, sorry!

another selection could be RAW diet?

Yes that's exactly what I was trying to enter, but because it came under other and I'd written about it in the 'please specify' box, I then couldn't submit it without choosing one of the existing options, which defeats the object,

I completed the survey - a couple of things I would change
There should be an option to choose more than one food type in each section as most people will select more than one type depending on offers etc and different cats and another selection could be RAW diet?
Best of luck with your project.

I've tried to do it but the 'other' part doesn't work - I fill in the 'please specify' box but it throws up an error as it says I haven't selected an option...think there needs to be a box to tick next to the word 'other'.  Hopefully that's something you can resolve otherwise it'll throw all your results out!
