That's great that he likes dried heart.
I have made similar treats by using the fan oven on a low setting. they do keep for a while in the fridge, but you can also freeze them successfully if you make a big batch.

That's the idea. I know it can't replace fresh food but I do a lot of training with him and using drier food is a lot easier. The only other thing that works is using food that comes in a tube and letting him lick some off.
He's loving the dried beef heart!

I would not use one to make food as such....but it would be great to make treats from strips of heart, kidney or muscle meat. Much healthier than most shop bought snacks such as Dreamies.....and MUCH cheaper than Thrive!

not sure why you would really cats need hydration and most comes from food

Does anyone use a dehydrator to make cat food? I just bought myself one. I have a lot of info on making dog food with it but haven't found much for cats.
