Although I don't agree with pedigree breeding, and would prefer peeps to take in rescue cats, at least a good pedigree breeder takes care of the mother and kittens, having them wormed, FLV checked and keeping them in decent conditions. Whereas people who breed from non pedigrees tend, on the whole, to take less care of them, as they have less financial worth. Though, to me, buying and selling any animal is abhorrent. I won't start this debate here. Pedigree breeders do have a reputation to maintain.
