Wait!?!  what's this?  you can wash your whites at 30 degrees?  I always use 60 - and the cycle is an hour longer than the 30 I use for my colours.

Have I been wasting my time and money?  (Fairy bio tabs - if anyone's interested)

Lucky kitty !!  :wow:

What a lucky little kitten!

I like to keep our washing machine firmly closed, although Mr S sometimes forgets. Alfie has climbed in for a look once, it's a good job he is such a big lump and can't be overlooked!

Yes, I do nearly everything at 30c quick wash these days. Occasionally do a hot cycle empty to try and shift any powder etc that might be clogging up the pipework.

Washing powder isn't what it used to be though.  You could really get stains out with the old stuff - granted, it wasn't kind to the environment either, but by gum it got tea stains out of your tea towels.  You didnt have to mess about with all of this Vanish and Oxy Action malarkey.   :shify:

Yes it seems fine for most of my washing. I think everyone was encouraged to move to 30 as it's better for the environment weren't they?

Mostly 30 for me, although I do sometimes stick the throws and towels in on a 90 degree anti bacterial wash (gives the machine a clean out too!)

I almost always stick to the 30 degree "delicates" cycle as it only takes half an hour, so it's quick  :evillaugh:

Does anyone wash at 50 degrees now, I wash pretty much everything on 30?

I've read of such stories before - we always keep our washing machine door firmly closed, and our laundry is in the laundry bin with a firm fitting lid.  But there's always something kittens can find to get up to that you don't expect.     I loved the Vet in this story.  :)  Bet he was pleased he was being eaten out of house and home.  ;)

Apparently she was unconscious when the cycle finished, probably what saved her. A salutary warning dressed up in cute clothes.  :shify: Check that drum!
