I would keep the crate until you're sure Penguin's not doing any more travelling. My big wooden crate was used twice. Would have cost a fortune to get a new one.
Because of passports lots more pets are travelling and with the US/Canada being included in the passport scheme, if you're sure you are staying put I'm sure you could sell it on ebay or to one of the animal travel companies.

I can't do the fancy graphics of the other talented cat slaves on this forum, but Welcome Penguin!!!!

they are quite expensive so either put it in your loft incase you ever need it or sell it on ebay.

:welcome: Penguin!  I thought he might have to go into quarantine - is that why he was delayed in the US?

Great that he's reunited with you again  :wow:

You get a choice now adays, either 6 months in quarantine in the UK or 6 months in the US - it's just to wait the results of the titre test (rabies test).

Now I've got to figure out what to do with the great big crate he was shipped in. Its way too big for normal use for any of the cats.

He arrived 10 minutes ago and is taking over the house already! He's been purring his head off and getting petted.

He's HUGE compared to my two girls barely fits into the litter tray. So tomorrow we'll get a Penguin sized one and anything else we think he needs.

Lirael & Smoke are a bit put off and hissing and growling at him and he looks so confused.

Thanks folks, he's in the UK and on the way to our house.

The driver said he looked fine and was a bit scared of him (Penguin is afraid of most folks for a while) and gave him some water for the trip.

Next hour or so he should be at our door. Poor thing arrived at Heathrow at 7am so he's had a long day.

How exciting reading he is on his way to having his own personal slave    and a brand new beautiful family waiting to greet him

Let us know how he is if you can tear yourself away for 2 seconds............im so excited for you both

Hope he gets over his big adventure in a day or too.

You must be on the edge of your seat with excitement  :)

Funny i was just thinking about this time 2 years ago being in the states on hols and how much i'd give to be back there again  :(  Oh well just another 1.5-2 years probably to go LOL.
