When she was spayed they said she may have a tiny ovary left but that they couldn't find it,we'll surely there must be one.

years ago my little stable cat was spayed and they only removed her womb. She then kept coming on heat and my neutered boy cat kept jumping on her as she was a bit of a tart :innocent:  Took her back to vets and they respayed her and took out her ovaries. She was then fine. She is 19 this year :wow:

Sounds like she still has an ovary which is secreting hormones causing the seasons. Poor thing :(
An X ray wouldn't show it.  A scan might but she may need another op to get it if the meds don't work. I hope they do poor little confused kitty.

I remember talking to someone who's cat was spayed and it transpired they had two sets of what was needed for reproduction.....did the vets mention that as a possibility? It's not common, but apparently it can happen.
