Definitely contact the police. A dog that size certainly shouldn't be wandering about unrestrained and you have tried the polite approach.

I can only sympathise, must be awful to have to do/not do something that affects your enjoyment of your home and garden purely because of thoughtless neighbours  :shy:  Have you tried asking the man to put up a proper fence that would stop his dog getting over? Does he own his own home?

Try telling the police because dogs are not allowed to be free roaming like cats I believe, stay safe

Hello everybody,i'm just so mad,i have a neighbour who has a Big dog that keeps coming into my garden. Now i can't let any of my cats in my garden, unless i am out there too.The dog must be about 6'tall when standing on its hind legs,my daughter's worried it might knock me over as i have osteoporosis(and i'm only 5'1'') I tried the "nice approach, the first time it happened but he never watches the darned thing. >:(
