Oh Beth.  It does sound odd that its growing so quickly.  There's no harm in asking the vet to take another look     I hope it's an infection, or an abcess rather than anything more sinister.

She's in some discomfort then. Keep her quiet and calm if you can, monitor her bowel and urinary movements (and write them down for the vet) and make sure she's drinking. If this is an infection she needs fluids fluids fluids.

With you on this Beth

she's more moody than usual, wants to curl up and sleep when she is inside, is really lashing out at rori and the kids.  When I put her outside, she seems fine when walking.  I've noticed that it's hard for her to climb, so she hasn't gone out the garden much.   Her temp is slightly raised too, which I hope means it's an infection and not a tumor.

Beth, I have absolutely no idea, but wanted you to know I'm keeping everything crossed that it is some kind of infection that can be dealt with quickly.

Is Honey feeling well otherwise?

Just as Rori starts getting healthy, Honey becomes ill  :'(

I noticed a lump between her front legs and within a week, it went from half a cm to 2".  Took her to the vets, they've put her on anti inflams and antibiotics.

The lump was originally fluidy soft and detached, now if feels more solid and attached.  Since taking her pills the fluidy feel has gone and it's firmer, it has grown another inch too.

Originally the vet said it seems to be more of an infection, he said unlikely to be a tumor.  But why has it doubled in size and got firmer, since taking antibiotics?
