Very sad :'(

Its so dangerous and as you say Gill they will not put up signs because there would be a protest. Its so under hand.

This is terrible and I have been to the FOD many times and have never seen a boar yet.

Not only are they murders of boar but could end up being murders of people or dogs cos they havent seen them when shooting.

Of course they havent put up signs to warn the public cos they know what a public backlash their would be.

Signed and shared on FB.

I'm :censored: sick of people interfering with wildlife. Killing seems to be their solution to every problem.
You can't change the world by rescuing one cat, but for that one cat you are changing its world.

Thank you Sue

You are right it is exaggerated.

Many are very tame as the Foresters feed and pat them.

Obviously they are wild animals but I could believe how close I got to a sow with piglets.

Signed.  I've been following the wild boar debate on Countryfile for some time, and my overall belief is that this is being exaggerated with regard to the damage done by the boar and the risk posed to people.

This makes me so angry as think the Gov thought they would announce this whilst the badger debate is raging in the hope it would not be noticed >:(

I have put on link to E Pet if anyone feels they want to sign.

The Gov wants people to think the wild boar are everywhere in the Forest of Dean which is not true. It took me years to see any after looking very hard.

To see them in the wild is just incredible and they do not do any harm
