Perfect timing

Well I've always said cats have a perfect sense of timing and last week proved it. Last Wednesday a few of us attended a Cats Protection training day where we covered pregnancy, birth, looking after kittens etc. Lo and behold on Wednesday night we got a call from someone who told us a cat had got into their house, run under the bed and promptly given birth to 7 kittens. One of our welfare bods rushed across and by that stage mum had moved said kittens to the wardrobe. All are safe and well in our care now though and mum cat is very friendly and being a good mum by accounts.

We can't recall ever having a litter of 7 in the 10 years we've been going, 6 has been our max at one time. mum will be off to the vets to check for a microchip but we don't expect to find one.

Perfect timing though  ;D
