goodnight, God bless Smudger xx play well at the bridge xx
Cats are independent, don't listen, don't come in when you call, stay out all night and when they're home they like to be left alone to sleep....Every quality that Women HATE in a Man, they LOVE in a Cat...

So sorry to hear this, I saw your post on FB earlier.

He obvioiusly had a wonderful life for the last four years, and you did so much for him when he got ill last year - he was a very lucky little feral!

RIP Smudger.

Smudger of the Clan cats

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our darling feral Smudger at 4am this morning he went in his own way surrounded by the Clan cats and dogs, who then went in to a catawauling and barking frenzy for about 15 mins

Smudger came to us with his late Mum the wonderful Miss Cissy and his sister Ragamuffin after someone poisoned their whole colony we said we would take them and they came to join the Clan 4 years ago, they mastered the inside life and Ragamuffin and Smudger mastered the great outdoors and found the best places to sunbathe

Smudger had a very severe stroke in November and the vets and I fought for 2 long weeks with injections to give hom quality of life, he hated that the touching and probing so we said no more and would let him live his life the way he wanted and he did

So my darling feral Smudger reunited with your Mum, leaving Ragamuffin here in our care, godspeed my darling boy loved and already missed for your quiet gentle presence by all of us here at the Clan, no longer the unwanted feral you were but a member of a very select family the Clan Cats
