I agree with Desley. It could just be the move, but if her breathing's still rapid it would be a good idea to take her for a quick MOT!

I would see how she is tomorrow and if she still seems to be breathing fast, I would get her in for a quick check up just to be on the safe side.  She may be running a slight temperature, I hope she's okay, xxx

she's not panicing... she's comfortably feeding and apparently relaxed, just breathing fast  :( I hope she's ok

A lot of cats pant when panicking. I know my oldest two do when they have to go in the....dum dum dum....cat carrier! Generally, they calm down fairly quickly though.

I collected mum and 3 week old kittens today to foster  :Luv:

i'm a bit worried, mum was panting in the car, i assumed cos she was a bit stressed, since then, they have settled at home and mum has had a nice purry fuss and some dinner, but I've noticed when she's asleep her breathing is very rapid.

It seems better more relaxed when she's awake... is this normal???
