   Brilliant!

I always try to get a magazine or something in the line of fire when I hear retching sounds but they always seem to turn their head the other way!  I returned home one day last week to find some sick on the bed.  I'd been debating whether to wash the duvet cover in the week or wait until the weekend (I have to wash and dry it then put back on as only one set bedding at the moment).  That certainly decided it for me!

When dog was a pup she had the house carpeted and then the dog decided to throw up. She couldnt move fast enough so held out her hands and it thrrew up in them. Now everytime the dog feels sick it comes running to her for her to catch it

   That made me go both "ewwwww!" and "aaaaaaah" at the same time!

Actually that reminds me of a friend who has a dog. When dog was a pup she had the house carpeted and then the dog decided to throw up. She couldnt move fast enough so held out her hands and it thrrew up in them. Now everytime the dog feels sick it comes running to her for her to catch it

Soooo, a few minutes ago I heard that distinctive "I'm about to be sick" cat wail.  As we have new carpets, I jumped up from my seat and attempted to shoo Geoffrey either into the kitchen or out of the house.  Of course he ran straight upstairs and got under the bed.  On the brand new carpet.

As he started to hoof, I panicked and looked around for the nearest object to contain the vomit and protect the carpet.  The nearest thing to hand was hubby's copy of Evo magazine  :shify: :shify:  I inserted it below Geoffrey's head and lo and behold, he vomited all over it.  I furtively took the magazine into the bathroom, whereupon I discovered that the delightfully glossy cover had not yet absorbed any of the goo and I was able to slide it all off into the toilet.  A quick wipe later, and I'm sure he will never know  :innocent:  ;)
