I'm  just so sorry for what happened to your little one  'Solo' and my heart goes out to you , I know just how much pain one has when loosing a member of one's  family in such a way  .
My husband has many specialised  air rifles and is a paid up  member of a gun club here in Devon , he would not dream of shooting anything warm and furry unless a farmer  friend asks him to help sort the rabbit population that has taken over one of his fields, even then he makes sure that any rabbit it a 'clean one shot'
People who own air rifles and use them to harm or kill our family members  should find out  for themselves what its like to be shot in the leg and how much pain is involved, may be then they wouldn't go around shooting anything and everything that is small and moves.

Sorry to sound like a bit of a lunatic  but I get so angry when I hear of the senseless killing of a animal like this, it makes me feel ashamed of being a member of the human race ,  you know,  us the intelligent  people who run this world.

Ami and her two......... soft fluffy , squishy , cold nosed ,warm padded, long whiskered  boys ....they are the  love of my life and  I would defend to the death .
RIP our beloved friends :

:welcome: hello from Devon to Devon ........heck hasn't it been hot  poor boys have just wanted to lay on chair all day and drink water .

I'm near Plymouth and a pretty part of the county by the water , which gets inundated with 'grockles' at this time of the year so its quite bad on the roads down here. The boys are safe inside except when we take them 'walkies' on their harnesses and leads , which will be later today again as long as the weather stays cool.
Hope to speak to you soon................Ami and her boys

Glad you've found us, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.  It really is a very friendly forum with lots of friendly helpful advice, if ever needed, and of course lots of fun.

I do feel it my public duty to warn you though that it can be a teensy bit addictive  You have been warned  :evillaugh: You probably already know this if you have been watching from the sidelines!  :evillaugh:

Hope that now you've taken the plunge and posted your first post you'll be a regular poster  :)

Hello from Devon!

Hello,

Finally it's time to say hello after 2 years of reading the forum! I'm slave to Jet, a cheeky little madam who is now 3 years old. We live in Devon where Jet enjoys chasing butterflies, tapping frogs and watching the birds. I waited until 18 months ago before having my first cat due to moving around too much for a cat to be settled so she's very spoilt, I first asked for a cat for Christmas when I was 4, it's been a long wait. I've already learnt so much from this forum, so thank you for all the useful information and discussions even though I haven't been a part of them they've helped me so much.

I'm at the point where I need to ask for some advice, which I'll post on the appropriate board.

Solar
