Thanks so much for suggesting these sites.  I have just posted an invitation to Facebook 'catbook' kittens to join our study, and will also follow up the other link you gave.  Thank you!

Have you tried the Moneysavingexpert pets board? You would need to ask the consent of the 'powers-that-be' but I would have thought they would say yes. Rules, contacts and help links are all towards the top of the page - you cannot post links as a newbie, but I presume there is a way of bypassing that once you have permission.

Also have you tried the Catbook app on Facebook? http://apps.facebook.com/catbook/ There are some very active cats with well over a hundred feline friends, and it's very easy to make new friends and thus post on their walls or in the most used groups.

That might be going over old ground tho.  :-[
:'( My beautiful Noah rescued 13/02/09, adopted 11/10/09, taken 11/02/11 :'( You deserved so much more.

I think the thought of 1000 new kittens is terrifying and far too many

Fantastic news - the 'Bristol Cats' study has enrolled 240 kittens this year!

Many thanks to everyone who has taken part so far. :thanks:

Now, where to find the other 660 kittens we need to achieve our target of 900....

If you have a kitten aged between 8-16 weeks and would like to take part in a UK-wide study into cat health, welfare and behaviour, please log on to our website at Bristol University School of Veterinary Science - ‘Bristol Cats’ study and complete a questionnaire. You can also join us on Facebook (Bristol Cats Study Group) or follow us on Twitter (Bristol Cats Tweet). Why not join the fun, share photos of your beloved kittens and help us to help cats, owners and veterinary practitioners.

We look forward to hearing from you and your kittens!
