Feline infectious enteritis, feline distemper, feline parvovirus , Feline panleuopenia all the same
The normal basic vaccination covers cat flu and enteritis e.g. Nobivac Tricat, Fevaxyn ICHP, Quantum Cat CVRP and Purevax RCP.
It can be spead via direct and indirect contact as well as by fleas!!!!!
and can persist for months need parvocidal disinfectant to destroy it.
If I remember correctly dogs were vaccinated with FIE vaccine when Parvo in dogs first came on the scene before there was a vaccine made specifically for dogs. I remember parvo in dogs when it first came on the scene it hit so fast, with terrible results.
I hope they get it under control and really clean everything down well before anymore cats come in.
