That is exactly how we feel, it may not be ideal but she is safe and sound and it has reinforced to us the value of the microchips.

Twiglet is such a sweet little character. She is very flirty and charming when you go past her pen in the cattery, rolling on her back and purring in the hope that you will go in and give her a tickle. She was wonderful for our photographer, a real little poser for the lens.

Such a pretty girl and so pleased she was found, even if it wasn't quite the happy ending you'd hope for at least she is safe, well fed and waiting for the prefect home

Twiglet is a 6 year old tabby female and she was rehomed by HULA in 2011, unfortunately after just 4 days she managed to slip out of the house of her new owner, panicked and ran away. 8 months later after much heartbreak and searching her owner received a call to say Twiglet had been taken to a local vets as a stray and her microchiped had been scanned. Twiglet was soon home safe, however while she had been missing her owner had adopted another cat and they did not settle in with each other so with great sadness she was returned to HULA for rehoming. It may seem like a sad ending to the tale, however, Twiglet is safe and happy and is on the brink of finding a forever home when she is picked by a new owner.

Twiglet is currently helping us to promote National Microchipping Month by telling her story.

Twiglet is 6 years old and would like a home as the only cat. We feel she may be best suited to an indoor home as this is what she was used to previously and following her adventures outdoors it may be best for her. However, we would consider her going to a home who will let her out if it can be done slowly and with extreme caution.

We ask an adoption donation of £65. Twiglet is neutered, microchipped (of course!) and fully vaccinated as well as being up to date on flea and worm treatments.
We aks that a new adopter be able to visit her a couple of times so please bear location in mind when thinking of offering her a new home.
