I love black cats- i must admit i do love the very big sleek midnight black toms with green eyes  :Luv2:
tbh though colour is the least of my worries although i do admit that those hairless cats do freak me out a bit as i imagine its a bit like stroking my hubbys bald head
I do have a huge thing for fur though (not in a cruella type of way though ) and have to stop myself following myagi about all day and fussing him :innocent: hes fast asleep at the moment next to oh so have to wait till he wakes up then see if hes up for a picture shoot. poor georgia has gone to eating his food out of spite lol and pooing in his litter tray and hes doing it to hers now  , so hoping it will calm down soon as Georgia has gone a bit loopy and taken to tormenting the birds instead. I cant wait till shes neutered and can go in garden as shes a definate hunter and i think chasing leaves , butterflys and creepy crawlies may be more fun for her. she also opens the ohs wardrobe and pulls all his stuff out everyday  thankfully Mr myagi hasnt started that yet as Georgia is obsessed with hubby and lies in wait for him outside shower and to watch him get dressed- my children are a bit odd like that too, trying to sneak in on him so it must be his aftershave :wow:
he however is not as amused as i am-especially as she likes to pounce

Congratulations - he is a very cute kitty and nice to see an all black kitty getting a home too :) For some reason they are often overlooked.

thxs for the help- the woman who sold him isnt a breeder as such, just never had the cats done, she seemed quite affronted that daddy had done the deed with mom, they are house cats so it was going to happen wasnt it
the lady dropped him off with her son, I could see on Myagi,s bum that she had trimmed hin down but obviously he shouldnt have been left to get in that state anyway. she had been feeding him dry food mixed with kitten milk, ive put him onto wet food and he has his milk seperately and water. hes "been" once since yesterday and his poo wasnt runny etc so hopefully that will right itself now. he is eating and drinking lots here anyway so got a good apetite although not so sure if he eats out of hunger or just because its there!!
I trimmed him earlier but the bit directly under his tail is still left with a bit on next to the skin so i may have to bathe it slightly to loosen it up and then see if i can get close enough to get rid of that last bit. he got a bit frustrated when i went down that area and has a sharp nip on him :shy: :shy:
he seems to like being groomed otherwise though and is a real sweetie. he slept in my bed last night little terror snuggled up in my daughters hair-sure he thought her head was another kitten :evillaugh: poor oh took up residence on the sofa- i did obviously try to put him in a basket next to my bed but he jumped up and snuggled in sooo you know i couldnt resist him snuggling in :Luv2:
Georgia is a bit annoyed i think so willow (daughter) is giving her the special treatment as shes still a baby herself and i dont think she actually thinks that hes a kitten too, im sure she thinks hes a big mouse!
Georgia does prefer to be upstairs mostly anyway with my eldest daughter and sleeps a lot of the day up there unless she decides she is hungry or wants to play so at the moment Mr myaki is anywhere i am or with my son (his schools shut at moment due to pipes), i have a spare room upstairs and bathroom so if i have to i can give him a room to be in safely if i have to nip out but so far they are living seperately as much as they can be without me locking either one of them up totally which id prefer not to do unless its the only option.
I have been taking some more pics of him so will try to get some on tommorrow xx

Is he from a breeder? I wouldnt be very impressed with a breeder who sells kittens with matts  He should have had his full set of vacs before going to his new home. I agree with Bryony, prob best to keep them separate, he won't be fully protected yet. How old is he?

It probably best to keep them mostly separate and do introductions slowly anyway, but it may be best to keep them separate until he has his second set just to be on the safe side, if Georgia is vacc'd then I expect the risk is a lot less but a slow introduction will be easier on both of them. I'm sure they will become friends in time - my cats eventually bonded with my mums cat and now attempt to wash him and all sorts!

hi
Bryony- he has had his first set and i am to give him his 2nd, Georgia has had hers now. he has been introduced to georgia but she is sulking i think so think it will be a while before they actually make friends-.  would it be better to keep him totally seperate till he has his second set as i thought it was ok so long as he had the first
they are both indoors cats and will be untill they are neutered, the gap between them is enough that she should be able to get done before hes ready.
he is quite a fatty but think the fluff makes him look bigger than he is.

Looking forward to more pics, he's beautiful! Congratulations on your new little furrball! The loveheart orb thing is pretty cool, is that just a reflection off something from the flash?

On a overly sensible note has he been vaccinated by the lady you got him from? Not sure how old he is (whether he is old enough to have had 2nd lot of jabs yet) as I've not much experience with kittens but he looks bigish, may just be the fur or his voracious appetite though.

I will get some more tommorrow- the others i took dont show his face really either as he has his head in the food bowl scoffing and then asleep on sofa looking like a fluff ball  ;D
noticed he is a bit matted round his bottom so i will give him a trim tommorrow, i can see the woman has cut some but not all, it may need a little wash to soften it up  bit first but dont want to hassle him tonight as he may be a bit afronted if i go straight in there- he didnt mind me combing everywhere else though so thats a good start and as hes still a baby im sure he will get into a daily grooming routine. hes now on my son playing on the laptop

notice the weird love heart orb
hes a right piggy and is onto his second dinner- tbf Georgia did finish his dinner off - oddly leaving hers :innocent:, the woman did say he was the biggest of the bunch and liked his food so i have just given him some more for now to settle him in and will go to three meals tomorrow. Georgia is a bit more fussy- not so much with the food itself just when she decides shes hungry, shes too busy plotting how to catch sunny the cockatiel and what hes eating so would rather leave her dinner in the middle of eating it if she hears the bird food box :-:

I have cracked and bought a kitten.
I did want to adopt angel the beautifull Birman but she was quite far away and i was worried she may not settle with my kitten Georgia and the children if she was a bit older i did worry she might not adapt then id be heart broken.
anyway i saw an add for two fluff balls and i just couldnt resist phoning up- Ive always wanted a fluff ball to pamper and cuddle and each time ive looked on rescues there has never been any younger ones ( mainly i guess as they are more popular especially young kittens?)
soooooo i rang and asked about the kittens expecting them to be gone but they werent so that was it im afraid.
I now have the most loveliest sweetest little boy (currently asleep with my toddler next to me)
Im tempted to call him Mr Miyagi but name suggestionsare welcome if you all think its a ridiculous name. :scared:
he is sopposed to be a persian but im not sure he is- im not bothered about that as just love cats with lots of fur and hoping he will be a true lapcat, Georgia is very much an independant puss and likes to be stroked in her territory but doesnt want to sit down and be cuddled though new kitty may follow suit but as hes long haired he will have to endure some pamper time on a daily basis :wow:
