As you may have read, little Dora kit was spayed last Wednesday, apart from being 'slightly' sleepy on Wed's night she has come through the trauma fantastically and after a post op check up yesterday the vet said she was fine to venture outside
So today started off lovely here in sunny but cold Kent so on went the little pink harness (thank god we didn't leave it any longer as said harness is on biggest setting and fits nicely) Bloomin typical that I had to work so couldn't hang about too long with hubby and my gang in the garden.
She loved it, as soon as Sparkle and Arnie caught wind that the intruder was now not only in 'THEIR' house but now in 'THEIR' garden
they came running to investigate and they all had fun playing chase (with Arnie diverting occasionally to mark the bushes and garden furniture that he quite rightly believes is HIS!!!) and Andy desperately running about to keep up with them all whilst he had hold of Dora's extending lead
So that's the first hurdle of introducing her to big world, I won't be letting her out freely just yet when we're not at home but shouldn't be long now - i'm off work Tuesday so weather hopefully being dry I might just let her out without harness (and with a very empty belly) Tuesday morning - and then no doubt sit with my face pressed to the window keeping an eye on her whereabouts
