One of our cats used to do it if she didn't like what she was given - we used to say she is telling us it is

Our kittens always do that. If they leave anything they scratch the ground around it as if covering it over! Our other cats have never done that. It is funny  :)

I have noticed that socks scratches at the floor when she eats, it's almost like she would quite like to bury her food - she is nursing kittens at the moment, what is she up to?
