Well Moose another year has passed and you are still missed every day, young Echo has a lot of your traits so wonder of you sent this little white furry child for us as we were missing a white fluffy boy

Your daddy and I talked about you yesterday on your day so Moose we lovce and miss you but no doubt causing havoc at the bridge with all the Cla cats who have joined you and not fogetting your doggie siblings there to

Well its now been 21 months since since our beloved white and black fluffy boy decided his time with us was over. Its not like it wasn't expected as Moose was diagnosed as terminally ill in March 2004 and given 8 weeks. Well after parents spending all that money (another 4 figure sum - own cardiologist, kidney and liver experts) Moose decided that he would prove everyone wrong and he did he lasted another glorious 9 months and decided to pop of to the bridge after I made the phonecall to the vet at 19.45pm.

Moose died in my arms at the exact same spot that 2 of his brothers were killed in April 00 and Sept 03. he drew his last breath in the cat and parents then drove 18 miles to the vet still have no idea how we got there to be told our darling boy had gone.

Moose came as part of an Golden oldie pair - Bert being the other at Christmas 2000 - orginally for foster care as both had spent 9 and 11 months waiting for that special home well my darling husband got them chipped, injected and adopted on his one day off of the festive period 18/12/00 both boys were to be my best christmas present. They joined us as Nos. 9 and 10 respectively. Moose was the most sociable cat out and even charmed Robins grandmother at 93 with a fear of cats. he had 3 interests in life, food, warmth and his beloved feral followers Pebbles and Storm, he made Pebbles in to the wonderful boy he is today and his warmth and radiance ae still with us in fact sometimes a quick backward glance and for a second Rogue catches you in the light then you remember Moose is no longer here in body but always in spirit. Moose lost an ear to skin cancer in Feb 2002 and used his one eared look to charm all the treats out of his Grandad and anyone else he decided should feel sorry for him!

Always in our hearts and minds but now free to run with Toerag and Haggis, our other boys at the Bridge in fact setting up a new sectioon of the Clan.

Moose Wilson - Adopted 18/12/00 Died 17/01/05
A wonderful reason to have an older dimension in the family
