;D GREAT NEWS!!! After putting up posters in our area a lady phoned this afteroon to say she was sure she had Timmy in her back garden.  We got him home safe and sound this afternoon.  We feel so lucky and are so grateful to Mrs Sutherland and her daughter who found him.  One week gone and we were starting to lose hope. We've had bad experiences in the past so feel so relieved.  Thanks for all your support. To any other people missing furrbies, don't give up hope (a week missing and longer is not so unusual) and from a practical point of view posters really can work - there are loads of people out there who love cats and really want to help.  Timmy and his sister Bonnie are booked in to be microchipped on the 1st of March and will strictly not be getting out til after then!! From one very happy cat mum!

Thanks Sam

There are some useful tips there that we haven't tried yet and I just heard that there are a lot of cats who hang around a block of flats nearish to our house so I will go over there this evening to call out for him.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi

Our beautiful big friendly 7 year old boy Timor (Timmy) has been missing since Friday 4th February and we're badly missing him :'( .Timmy is a house cat and isn't chipped or wearing a collar (don't we feel REALLY REALLY stupid now?).  He escaped and got out the back garden around tea time on Friday and he hasn't been back since.  We've put out a few leaflets in our immediate neighbourhood as we were hoping that he still might be nearby but we're going to put out a lot more over the next couple of days a bit further afield.  We have made calls to vets in central Aberdeen, cats protection, and cleansing department (which wasn't a nice call to make) and there is no news of him.

Timmy is brown with darker brown spots on his back and sides, pale cream tummy with brown spots, and black paw pads.   He's got a very dinstinctive miaow and is larger than the average cat and due to an operation to insert a cannular when he was a little he tends to wink a lot with his right eye. He is neutered.

He's a real sweetie, is extremely friendly and good natured and when we're feeling positive we're hoping he's charmed his way in to someone else's home. We're all missing him especially his sister Ambon who has no-one to snuggle up besides at night.

If anyone has any information (good or bad) we would love to hear from you, we just want to know what's happened to our spotty boy.

Aileen
